We have two exciting new opportunities for exceptional candidates to be part of the USA Environment and Society (E&S) team to help serve our clients in the Energy Transition and Chemical/Petrochemical Sectors. These positions can be based out of any of our numerous offices in the United States, preferably in Houston, TX, Baton Rouge, LA, or Concord or Costa Mesa, CA.  You will have responsibilities for technical excellence, helping grow and responding to project opportunities in United States generally. You may also support our initiatives outside United States. You are expected to develop long-term client relationship by providing high quality services- based on top-class understanding of the regulatory environment and the important issues related to energy and chemicals sectors.  

Our current emphasis is on permitting and compliance for up-, mid- and downstream activities and chemicals/petrochemicals, as well as the energy transition (such as biofuels, green hydrogen, carbon management and renewable power).  Air quality permitting is an important part of the role.

This new and exciting opportunity will report to the Regulatory, Permitting, Approvals and Compliance Lead, USA and work closely with our senior environmental staff.

Primary Objectives and Accountabilities of the Role

• Provide exceptional Air Quality and permitting services to our energy and industrial clients, including impact assessment
• Assist in identifying permit requirements and the roadmap for permitting and in preparing permit studies and applications, under local, state and federal requirements  
• Advise internal senior staff on environmental and permitting issues
• Interact with the broader Worley Group team to provide environmental, engineering and operational support to our clients
• Work with senior consultants and principals in the practice to identify opportunities and prepare winning proposals; support in developing and managing client and market information
• Quality assurance - responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Environment & Society Practice 
• Responsible for personal safety and the safe working practices and understand and follow Advisian occupational health and safety procedures
• Travel as required for field programs and meetings
