Job Summary:
This position is responsible for coordinating and managing the hiring and onboarding process as well as addressing pay related needs for Vail Mountain Ski & Snowboard School. Once the Ski & Snowboard School is onboarded for the season, the responsibilities will shift to instructor payroll processes, assisting with employee paperwork, training administrative support, staff communication and data entry.

Job Responsibilities:
- Work cohesively with Ski & Snowboard School Admin team, Skier Services Leadership team, TASS, and other departments as needed to meet and determine appropriate hiring targets.
- Create job requisitions, post, conduct video interviews and manage the applicant flow in Success Factors.
- Develop ongoing relationships with candidates throughout the onboarding process acting as primary point of contact through first day of training.
- Responsible for managing the employee housing allotment for the Vail Ski & Snowboard School department.
- Coordinate with Ski & Snowboard School leadership staff to ensure accurate and timely payroll including audits as needed.
- Edit and input time and labor, including correcting exceptions and employee payroll for the Ski & Snowboard School.
- Assist Administration and Training Team as needed, including beginning and end of season duties.
- Work with stakeholders throughout Vail Mountain and Vail Resorts.
- Communicate and model the importance of safety.

- Promote school, resort and company initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently. Verbal communication in person and via telephone with guests, instructors and management is required.
- Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Suite skills
Preferred:
- Ability to speak Spanish
- 1-3 years of Ski & Snowboard School experience or similar high volume seasonal industry
- Working knowledge of company systems—Peoplesoft, Successfactors, Application Manager
- Passion for welcoming individuals to our industry, organization, country and community
- Competence in Canva and Power Point
The expected pay range is $20.80 - $28.49. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
