Senior Accounting Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Accounting Manager for our client in San Francisco, CA. This full-time direct hire position offers a hybrid work environment.

The Senior Accounting Manager will work closely with the CFO and Controller to oversee accounting operations and lead the accounting team, develop new procedures, and collaborate with leadership to meet financial goals. This role requires exceptional communication skills and would be a good fit for an applicant with 10-15 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee accounting operations, including fiscal closes, treasury and taxation

· Lead team of accounting professionals

· Ensures an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close

· Perform balance sheet reconciliations

· Collaborate with leadership to set financial strategy and meet goals

· Present and discuss results and issue with leadership

· Partner with tax experts to ensure tax and reporting requirements

· Act as liaison for external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits

· Keeps current with changing practices, interventions, and best practices 

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA or Master’s preferred

· Minimum 10 years of accounting and finance experience

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Thorough knowledge of GAAP

· Proficiency with accounting software, including advanced Excel skills

· Ability to learn new systems quickly

· Dedication to driving and achieving results 

· Vision/VantagePoint Deltek systems experience a plus

 

The anticipated salary for this position is between $150,000 and $155,000 based upon a written compensation plan.

Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $155,000.00 per year
