Essential Functions:

Under general direction, the Senior Accountant performs professional accounting duties and analysis of financial data in support of various accounting functions that may include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and/or General Accounting. Follows all procedures within the company policies and perform the following essential functions:

• Assist in preparing monthly debt compliance for revolver loan

• Ensure accounting transactions are in compliance with GAAP
• Assist Corporate Controller with month end and year end close process
• Research and resolve accounting issues
• Assist in preparing documentation for external auditors

• Reconcile sub-ledgers to general ledger control accounts
• Reconcile intercompany transactions between parent and subsidiaries to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Other special projects and duties as assigned by management

General Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation
• Eligible to work in the United States

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required)
• Public Accounting Experience (Big 4 or similar) a plus
• Proven Technical Accounting Experience required
• CPA designation a plus or eligibility and expectation to sit for the CPA exam

• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
• Sage X3 accounting software experience a plus
• Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills
• Well-developed planning and organizational skills which include the ability to work independently, prioritize activities, meet commitments, and proactively manage time and a heavy workload.

Language Ability:

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written in English

Math Ability:

Ability to understand and analyze financial operations

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
