We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team! Reporting to senior leadership on the Finance team, the Accountant will be responsible for core accounting and finance functions, fully leveraging accounting systems and technology services to support yli’s Program team and Senior Leaders with reporting they need to further yli’s mission.

The Senior Accountant will promote a team approach for guiding the framework and delivery of yli’s mission, and is expected to work with high ethical and integrity standards and model these behaviors for the organization.

Candidates for this position should have a B.A. or Accounting degree, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with nonprofit experience preferred. Candidates must have experience using the desktop version of QuickBooks enterprise-level accounting systems in a secure cloud environment (or other enterprise business accounting application).

The Senior Accountant will be required to participate in organization-wide committees, meetings and activities, including organizational anti-racism work. Candidates should have a commitment to actively dismantling systemic racism, and to continuously deepening their own understanding of intersecting oppressions, including anti-Blackness, colorism, ageism, and gender inequities.

Compensation for this role starts at $84,500, and includes yli’s generous benefits package:
