We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to assist with the preparation of financial statements, budget reports, and internal control systems. The Senior Accountant's duties also include accounts payable/receivable, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial audits. You must be able to work independently and with the highest levels of integrity.
To be successful as Senior Accountant you should have exceptional accounting skills and knowledge of relevant industry regulations. The ideal candidate will also be well-organized and have excellent management skills.

Senior Accountant Knowledge Responsibilities
- Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial reporting
- Working with the operations team to implement financial optimization programs
- Complete a monthly close of the general ledger
- Proactive management of accounts receivable and third-party delivery reconciliations
- Monitoring and managing credit card settlements
- Monitoring and managing collections of past due invoices
- Overseeing the management of the cash and bank balances
- Managing an accurate and timely month-end close process
- Management of all monthly posting of accruals and transfers
- Ensuring appropriate retention and management of all documentation
- Active involvement in annual financial audits
- Overseeing the timely collection of accounts receivable
- Management of accounting clerk staff
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Senior Accountant Skills and Experience
- 5+ years in a Finance/Accounting role
- Operational experience in food and beverage preferred
- A Business Degree is preferred
- High level of computer literacy
- Passion for hospitality and food
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Sharepoint, Word)
- Quickbooks Online
