Personal Injury Paralegal

Award winning Personal Injury law firm is seeking a highly motivated Personal Injury Paralegal to support a senior associate at our law firm in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of plaintiff-side Personal Injury experience, excellent writing skills, and experience drafting motions for summary judgment, motion to compel, pleadings, and answer discovery. The candidate should also have an understanding of the new affidavit rules, trial experience, great client communication, investigative skills, and have handled larger cases.

Responsibilities:

• Assist associate attorney in all aspects of Personal Injury litigation, including drafting and filing pleadings, conducting legal research, preparing discovery responses, and managing deadlines.
• Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and provide updates on case status.
• Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support the client's case.
• Prepare settlement memorandum and aid in the accounting of the case
• Manage a case load of up to 35 cases at a time, ensuring timely and efficient case progression.
• Maintain accurate and detailed case files, including electronic records.
• Knowledge of Filevine case management software is a plus but not required.

Requirements:

Minimum of five years of Plaintiff-side Personal Injury experience.

• Excellent writing skills and ability to draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Experience with trial preparation and support.
• Familiarity with the new medical affidavit rules.
• Great client communication skills.
• Strong investigative skills.
• Experience in handling larger cases and accounting settlements.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
