Senior Accountant - Fully Remote

JOB SUMMARY

Value-Based RCM, Inc. is seeking a full-time remote Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for various accounting tasks such as general ledger entries, account analysis, reconciliation of accounts, and preparing financial statements. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for assisting with budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, and coordinating year-end audits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs monthly, quarterly and year-end closing consolidation, and prepares appropriate financial statements and reporting packages
• Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations
• In charge of inter-company transactions and reconciliation (AR, AP, PO alignment)
• Coordinates with foreign entities’ accountants for timely financial reporting
• Assists with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
• Assists with drafting and implementing corporate policy
• Assists with preparation of annual budget and quarterly reforecasts
• Posts transactions and journal entries related to payroll, benefits, A/P, credit cards, revenue, etc.
• Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts
• Analysis of Income Statement, cash flow and receivables
• Assisting the CFO with any other projects as assigned including audits, acquisition, systems integration, etc.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Strong experience with General Ledger and consolidations
• General knowledge of financial accounting procedures required
• Strong GAAP knowledge and capable of processing all accounting issues and reach conclusions that are GAAP compliant in every respect without the need of outside CPA’s
• Broad range of business knowledge and an understanding of business drivers
• Well organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel and Microsoft Word
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience communicating logically and clearly both orally and in writing
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to promoting an environment of continuous process improvement
• Experience working with Pivot Tables, Vlookup and other formulas

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required

• 2-3 years’ experience as an Accountant (public accounting experience preferred)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

JOB TYPE: Full-time

SALARY RANGE: $55,000 - $75,000 annually
