-The Accountant is primarily responsible for assisting with monthly/quarterly journal entries and account reconciliations
-This role will assist with the preparation of financial statements and will collaborate with the accounts payable and receivable department
-The key responsibilities for this role are to ensure that the closing process is completed in an accurate and timely manner and based on internal deadlines established by the Corporate accounting team
-This individual will collaborate and communicate with cross-functional groups (e.g., internal sales team, inventory and logistics group, other intercompany, international colleagues) so experience with international organizations with structured functions is preferred
-Maintain general ledger accounts -
-Prepare and maintain excel spreadsheets for accounting functions
-Update and maintain financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements
-Prepare and analyze basic schedules for internal/external audit
-Update group accounting supporting KPI schedules
-Work with accounts payable and accounts receivable to reconcile cash and banking statements
-Process AP invoices, record payroll, and other general accrual entries
-Assist with some fixed asset inputs and reports
-Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Accounting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- SAP knowledge
