Senior Accountant (Ar) - Remote/Hybrid

Only looking for candidates who are physically located in Florida (Central Florida is preferred) who are willing and able to travel to our Rockledge, FL facility as needed . The ideal candidate will be able to perform essential tasks remotely and travel to the office when necessary.

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will be tasked primarily with supporting the day-to-day manufacturing operation as well as maintain financial records necessary for closing the books on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis. We’re looking for a candidate that’s able to process information quickly and carefully while becoming an asset to this and other departments of the Company.

Duties/Responsibilities

· Generate customer invoices accurately and send them in a timely manner

· Ensure the timely payment of invoices by customers

· Process credit applications from new customers

· Participate in the year-end audit and other reviews when necessary

· Contribute to the implementation of a new ERP system

· Maintain an organized system of storing files

· Produce reports as requested

· Assist with other projects as assigned by the Plant Manager or Controller

· Become cross-trained in AP, Inventory, etc. to serve as backup when needed

· Support other departments

· Answer phone calls in a courteous and professional manner

· Perform other duties as needed

Required Skills/Abilities

· Exceptional attention to detail

· Strong organizational skills

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Effective time management

· Robust verbal and written communication style

· Proficient with software programs such as Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Concur, ADP or similar systems

Education and Experience

· 2-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

· Experience with manufacturing or construction companies strongly preferred

· College Degree in Accounting or similar field preferred

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to traverse a manufacturing environment safely and possibly access storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching

· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time

· Willingness to travel as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
