Senior Accountant - Accounting With An Impact

A leading global supplier of zero-emission vehicles is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Bolingbrook, IL. This is an enormous opportunity to work with a company on a mission to help decarbonize heavy vehicle fleets and support the transition to sustainable transportation.

The ideal candidate will have 2-7+ years of accounting experience, experience in a global business environment and working with multiple currencies, and strong relationship building skills. A Bachelor's degree in accounting is required, with a Master's/MBA preferred. Candidates must also have excellent knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, experience with ERP systems (preferably Sage Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations), and strong presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitating global entity consolidation and financial statement reporting for multiple subsidiaries
• Creating periodic reporting packages for executive leadership
• Developing and maintaining internal control procedures
• Managing the chart of accounts for all global entities
• Overseeing tax reporting and filing
• Supporting budget development and presentation
• Executing monthly close
• Training and mentoring junior accounting staff
