Reporting directly to the Controller, the Sr. Accountant will be an instrumental member of the Finance and Accounting teams responsible for providing accurate accounting on CAPEX and Leases. Providing management with accurate information to make key decisions. This position is open to a hybrid work model of 3 days in, 2 days home. We can provide a flexible schedule if needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
- Support month-end close process and the distribution of reports to field operations
- Work with staff accountant to create and track assets in system in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all leases are entered into the lease software in accordance with ASC842
- Prepare reports on CAPEX and Leases for managements review
- Collaborate with other teams on CAPEX budgets
- Review staff accountants work for accuracy and completeness
- Identify and implement process improvements related to Leases and fixed asset spend
- Adhoc projects and tasks
- B.S., preferably in Accounting or Business administration
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant Accounting experience; healthcare experience a plus
- Experience supporting a multi-unit business environment
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- Strong financial and computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Prior use of NetSuite & LeaseQuery a plus
- Demonstrates ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
