$2.7B Transportation and Logistics Company— Omaha, NE— $75-100K, no bonus

• Role is 100% in the office – will consider a hybrid schedule after training
• Targeting 3-5 years of accounting/financial reporting experience, public accounting experience is a plus
• CPA preferred, transportation experience preferred
• Reports to VP and Controller

Minimum Education & Experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration

with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.

• Three to five years accounting and financial reporting experience preferred.

• One to two years computer or P.C. experience in Windows Excel or other spreadsheet applications

preferred.

• Public accounting experience and C.P.A. designation or transportation experience a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements for subsidiary companies and monitor other activities of the

companies, using a combination of Microsoft Excel, general ledger software, and other systems.

• Assist in the month end preparation and consolidation of Werner Enterprises financial statements.

• Conduct analysis on account balances and account activity as necessary to explain variances, identify

issues and support comprehensive disclosure.

• Research financial and accounting issues as needed.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

• Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift as determined by supervisory personnel.
