Job Summary and Qualifications

The Senior Accountant is responsible for any and all balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement analysis, coordinates physical inventory, audits petty cash, performs intercompany accounting, processes various physician billing including physician guarantees, processes various patient transactions, performs cash transfers, preparation of various financial reports, coordinates month-end close, completes post-closing review guide, assists with audits, coordinates completion of corporate tax/audit package, implements and reviews Corporate and Hospital financial policies, assists in writing Accounting policies, and any other duties as assigned by Accounting Manager. • You will provide monthly analysis of expense accounts within specified deadlines.
• You will notify Department/Corporate/Manager for reconciliation resolution.
• You will need to communicate effectively with Accountants and departments when reviewing accounts.
• You will need to maintain awareness of current policies and procedures.
• You will be involved in creating new and improved processes, when needed.
• You will need to be able to perform duties in an independent manner with minimal supervision.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School graduate / GED
• Bachelors degree (Accounting Major Preferred).
• 2-years of previous computer experience required.
• 2-years of previous general ledger accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Ten-key by touch is recommended
