DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
The Senior Accountant provides professional accounting services to NASMHPD and assists the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in assuring financial statements are accurate and presented according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Responsible for general ledger maintenance and analysis, fixed assets, invoicing, time sheet processing, payroll tax monitoring, budgets, and monitoring contract spending.
QUALIFICATIONS.
Bachelor's degree in accounting and a minimum of three years of accounting experience. Must possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience working with Federal contract and/or grant accounting preferred. DELTEK Costpoint accounting system experience desired.
Individual must have a high degree of organization, independent judgment, and the ability to develop and make recommendations. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision and be able to interact with staff.
