The Senior Accountant performs various accounting tasks during the monthly accounting close process, including related journal entry preparation and balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and regulatory documentation.
Job Duties:
· Perform monthly closings duties, including preparation of standard journal entries and posting of journal entries.
· Prepare and review analyses to ensure that all balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled with supporting documentation.
· Support both internal and external audits.
· Support Controller in variance and trend analysis and prepare monthly expense reporting.
· Support Controller in budget and forecasting activities.
· Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and automation.
· Ensure execution of all internal controls and documentation.
· Assist with physical and cycle inventory counts.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a finance or accounting discipline.
· 3+ years of related experience.
· Strong skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
· ERP experience
· Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, standard cost, and cost control principles including US GAAP
· Ability to process information, prioritize deliverables, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
