Senior Accountant | On-Site | $90k - $100k + Bonus
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage accounting activities for newly acquired companies, including month-end close and co-managing an AR and AP specialist. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role will work in a collaborative environment to drive continuous improvements in our financial close process. The successful candidate will have frequent interaction with the CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close cycle
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
- Assist in establishing accounting policies and procedures.
- Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure these are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
- Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
- Assist with a number of other accounting and forecasting responsibilities including, cash forecasting, fixed asset schedules, and other corporate reporting requirements
- Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
- Other projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelors or higher degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of accounting and US GAAP
- CPA or CPA tracking preferred.
- 3+ years relevant experience
