Senior Accountant

Aderans Hair Goods, Inc. (AHG), a global leader in the hair goods industry is growing and adding a Senior Accountant to our Chatsworth office. AHG is one of the leading wig manufacturers in the nation working with Wig Shops and Beauty salons across the nation. In our humble opinion, our Noriko, Amore, Rene of Paris Hi-Fashion, and other wig collections are the best in the business.

Primary Duties Include:

· Maintain accurate records of earnings, profits, cash flow and other financial results

· Responsible for timely completion of month-end close process including preparation of traditional financial statements and other month-end reports

· Provides management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities

· Coordinate A/P, A/R, operations, and sales and marketing personnel to ensure general ledger balances are correct, transactions are classified properly and reported accurately

· Oversee the input of Accounts Payable and ensure that invoices are paid timely and accurately.

· Ensure that all balance sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewed in a timely manner.

· Prepare closing journal entries and detailed scheduled reports related to the general ledger and related sub ledgers.

· Prepares audit schedules for annual audit and quarterly reviews

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a finance and/or accounting role

· Experience analyzing financial statements and budgets

· Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills

· Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
