Senior Accountant

BYD is seeking a hardworking Senior Accountant for Accounting & Finance Department to prepare financials and oversee company’s general ledger activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Maintain company general ledger and manage month-end close
• Ensure on-time and accurate periodic financial reporting and compliance
• Process timely journal entries and ensure accuracy of all revenues and expenses in line with company policies and procedures.

• Prepare reconciliations for all main general ledger accounts on monthly basis
• Prepare key internal controls and accruals in collaboration with Director of Finance, prepare schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis and audit as required.
• Manage the cash forecasting process utilizing key financial data to drive cash viability.

• Manage and coordinate all financial audits ensuring all submissions are accurate and deadlines are met in a timely manner.
• Prepare various tax filings, annual reports, and licensing.
• Perform special projects and financial analysis to support our rapid growth
• Conduct regular review of accounting processes to identify areas for improvement
• Perform Accounts Receivable function for 2 business lines. Generate invoices to customers and collect payment based on schedule
• Communicate with Sales/PM to follow up project status
• Update status reports and conduct meetings with core and extended team as required
• Other Accounting/Finance duties or projects as necessary.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Strong analytical skills required; along with attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Project)
• Accounting ERP experience (preferably SAP)
• Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills (written and verbal).

• Strong sense of ownership and curiosity to learn new skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team as well as independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
