Position: Senior Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role will report to the Director of Accounting and have exposure to key members of the operational and executive teams.
You will also:
- Provide oversight on assigned month-end close procedures including monthly accruals, review and analysis of general ledger transactions and account reconciliations to ensure proper classification, accuracy and completeness
- Prepare month-end finacial consolidations including inter-company elimination
- Assist with maintenance and control of general ledger
- Assist with implementation and monitoring of financial controls
- Prepare and review internal management reporting packages
- Identify and create new internal financial reports to support the needs of key stakeholders.
- Assist with external audit by analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts; provide information for auditors
- Assist with integration of new business acquisitions
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations
EDUCATION & EXPERTISE:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
- Minimum 5 – 8 years of related accounting experience; 1-3 years of public accounting experience preferred but not required
- Impeccable integrity; words and actions must continually reinforce this characteristic

- Exceptional communication skills; experience in effectively interacting with functional leaders at all levels; credible, persuasive, and clear in both oral and written presentations
