Role Overview:
As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining our financial systems. You will develop and implement processes, ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations, and perform month-end and quarterly close activities, including comprehensive financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain various accounting systems, including journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivables/payables, and revenue reconciliation.
- Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Balance books and prepare comprehensive financial statements, including profit and loss, cash flow, income, and balance sheets.
- Monitor and generate monthly reports on project revenues and expenditures.
- Maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
- Prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns as required.
- Assist in establishing processes and procedures for revenue recognition, including deferred revenue, in line with company policies.
- Generate and interpret revenue reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Review, track, and maintain billing information in financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and other regulations.
- Utilize professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively.
- Contribute to the development of new ideas, methods, and theories, offering innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results.
- Network with key contacts outside your area of expertise and coordinate activities with other personnel.
- Work independently with significant latitude in determining the objectives of assignments.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA is preferred.
- 6 years of accounting experience in public accounting and corporate environments.
- Strong technical accounting background with thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting standards.
- Proficiency in large general ledger software applications, such as Oracle Fusion, and advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to perform in-depth research on complex technical accounting matters and effectively summarize conclusions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate and interact professionally with a wide range of personnel at various levels within the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A solutions-oriented team player with excellent critical thinking and analytical skills. Passionate about remaining up to date on current trends and practices.
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team, with the ability to coordinate activities and drive sound business decisions.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:
$88,400.00-141,823.76 USDThe actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
