We are seeking an experienced and proactiveSenior Account Manager to join our New York-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for owning projects with customers from initiation to completion, driving upsells and renewals, and working with brands and retailers to transform their online shopping experience.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will not only manage projects but also play a critical role in problem resolution. You will actively engage with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction. A key aspect of this role is the ability to see the bigger picture and contribute to the overall strategic vision of client projects. WHAT YOU'LL DO...

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brands and retailers, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our products/services.Take ownership of customer projects, overseeing them from initiation to completion, which means onboarding, tracking, and optimizing.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve long-term customer success, upsells, renewals, and retention.
  • Analyze and evaluate account performance against key metrics, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with all departments internally to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to meeting customer needs.
  • Anticipate client needs and take a proactive approach to addressing them before they become issues.
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand the broader context of client needs and contribute to the overall strategic vision.
  • Proactively identify upsell opportunities and work towards renewing existing contracts with clients.
  • Keep clients and internal stakeholders informed on project progress, milestones, challenges, opportunities, and other relevant updates.

OUR DREAM CANDIDATE HAS...
  • 5+ years of experience as an Account Manager, working with marketplaces or big brands in a startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce.
  • Experience in driving upsells and managing renewals
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret and utilize data for strategic decisions.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.
  • Experience working with CRM systems.

The compensation range/OTE for this role is $135,000-$155,000 (base + commission)
