Job Description
DX1, a division of Dominion Enterprises, is hiring a Marketing Specialist to join our Norfolk, VA based team. This can be an in-office position or a fully remote position, but all applicants MUST be located within the continental United States and able to work across time zones.
DX1 is an entirely cloud-based dealership management system for the motorcycle and powersports industry. The perfect combination of a DMS, Website, and Marketing Tools and Services means dealers no longer have to invest in separate solutions to run their dealerships. All of the components of DX1 work seamlessly together, allowing dealers to be with their customers rather than behind a computer screen duplicating data entry efforts.
Position Summary:
Join our web services team and help maintain and build paid search and organic search presence for our business and motorsports clients. The Marketing Specialist will create SEM campaigns, build Display Ads and Display campaigns, track performance, and apply best practice solutions. Additionally, the role will require website SEO performance reviews and optimizations to help sustain and grow organic search rankings for dealers' websites. The person in this position also will set up Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console for clients and troubleshoot issues with those properties and accounts.
Position Responsibilities:
- Create SEM / Google Ads campaigns for clients, mostly powersports dealerships, to drive traffic and leads to dealers' websites within their ad-spend budgets.
- Create Display Ads and set up Display Ad campaigns for clients based on their goals and targeted customers, to drive awareness of the dealerships and their products and services.
- Set up Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console for clients and troubleshoot issues with those properties and accounts. Answer questions about Analytics for internal and external customers. Set up custom events and conversions as needed.
- Perform Search Engine Optimization within our website platform to help maintain and boost organic traffic for clients' websites. Optimizations include content creation, headings, metadata updates, internal linking, diagnosis of technical and site structure issues, and more.
- When applicable, serve as customer relations contact for clients and sales teams.
- Build high performing relationships with all members of the business including sales and customer support.
- Gather industry research and trade intelligence to determine SEM, SEO and digital marketing needs for each client.
- Analyze and report SEM and SEO performance, website ranking and traffic, making recommendations for any needed changes. Provide these results & feedback to customers through reports and conference calls.
- Translate data into spreadsheets, charts and graphs, and deliver professional marketing presentations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Excellent understanding of SEM / Google Ads with at least three years of experience.
- Experience building both simple and complex SEM campaigns with the ability to implement conversion tracking, retargeting, etc.
- Excellent understanding of Website Analytics, including Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, with at least three years of experience.
- Excellent understanding of SEO with at least two years of experience.
- Experience using website analysis and client reporting tools such as SEMrush, Google Search Console, RavenTools, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Experience reviewing code and HTML.
- Must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills, ability to work on a deadline, strong communication skills, and highly organized.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Additional Skills
- Google Ads certification and Google Analytics certification a plus.
- Powersports, Automotive or Marine dealer industry experience a plus.
- Agency experience a plus.
- Experience with Facebook / Instagram / Meta advertising a plus.
