Self-Direction DSP - Brewerton Area (Job #JO-SW)

Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work in the Brewerton area with a man in his early 20's. The individual is looking for a dedicated staff to assist him with maintaining his independence both at home and in community settings. The DSP will be assisting him with his goals that include learning safety skills, participating in exercise, learning skills for independent living, and learning social skills. Applicants must have cooking skills. This is a smoke free environment due to individual's allergies.

The individual is a generally happy guy who likes to be social and make new friends. The individual enjoys playing video games, building Legos, and spending time in the community. The individual benefits from someone who can encourage him and is comfortable going swimming.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus but willing to train. A reliable vehicle and a driver's license are required.

Hiring for many shifts with flexibility:

Thursdays and Fridays: 4pm to 7pm

Weekends: Once a month 7:15am to 5pm (flexible)

There is an ability for more hours once hired on. The pay rate starts at $20/hour with room for more depending on experience. EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

The first bonus will be a payment equal to 3% of wages earned from 1/21/2024 to 6/8/2024. The second bonus will be a payment equal to 3% of wages earned from 6/9/2024 to 11/9 /2024.
