What You'll Be Doing
- Design and manage Sediment Remediation projects using advanced CAD principles to craft innovative solutions.
- Dive into distinct project phases including predesign, design reporting, and planning, ensuring the meticulous execution of each step.
- Conduct technical assessments of river banks, apply expert bank stability methodologies, and devise strategic capping and dredging solutions.
- Lead and perform field operations with precision, from testing to sample collection using the latest techniques.
- Analyze soil and sediment integrity, select pivotal samples for in-depth geotechnical laboratory tests, and drive the project design through insightful analytical modeling.
- Under the mentorship of seasoned Foth leaders, contribute to construction management with keen observation and refined project insights.
- Cultivate key industry relationships and maintain an awareness of evolving sediment management regulations and practices.
- Enhance the company's growth by engaging in business development, strategic proposal writing, and fostering client relationships.
What We're Looking For
- A strong foundation with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and 7+ years in sediment management.
- A professional with a Professional Engineer license or the commitment to achieve it within a year.
- An enthusiastic willingness to travel as part of the role.
- Profound knowledge of CAD software and its application in environmental remediation.
- A proven track record in creating detailed engineering plans and alternatives for complex remediation projects.
- Advanced understanding of cost-effective and sustainable sediment remedial actions.
- Preference for a Master's graduate with a wealth of consulting experience and the ability to integrate cross-disciplinary knowledge in project management.
