Security Vehicle Patrol Supervisor

Peak Security is looking for those with leadership experience who are ready to make a difference! As a Patrol Supervisor, you will oversee our patrol team and assist in providing protection to our clients throughout Salt Lake Valley! This position is $20.00 - $22.00 depending on experience and both full and part-time opportunities are available!

Your Schedule

: 4:00pm - Midnight

Midnight - 8:00am

What You'll Do

• Assist in scheduling current staff and new hire trainings
• Coordinate staff effectively during emergencies or special events
• Attend Supervisor meetings to discuss employee issues or client concerns
• Ensure staff has proper training, tools, and equipment to be successful
• Promote a safe and team building environment
• Provide training, mentoring, counseling, and disciplinary action as needed
• Provide end of shift report to relief supervisor on all activities and incidents
• Assume overall responsibility for the safety and security of designated areas
• Provide customer service to all clientele, customers, vendors, and members of the public
• Conduct foot and Vehicle Patrols of designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures
• Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly
• Complete incident reports and daily activity reports
• Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings (ID badges and passes)
• Follow required procedures, to respond promptly to emergencies and incidents within designated areas
• Wear Peak issued uniform
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of security supervisory experience preferred
• At least 21 years old
• Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must have Utah Private Security License or willing to obtain one
• Clean background and ability to pass a pre-hire drug screen
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record in the last 5 years
• Must have a cell phone to communicate with our dispatch team (your safety is just as important!)
• Ability to comfortably alternate between running, walking, climbing stairs, getting in and out of a vehicle, bending, and kneeling for duration of shift
• Ability to remain calm and think clearly during high stress situations
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Customer service oriented
• Must be available to work nights, holidays, and weekends or attend special trainings/meetings outside of normal shift

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
