Security Systems Technician

Role Overview: Wide Effect is actively seeking a dedicated Security Systems Technician for our operations in Sarasota, FL. The role involves specialized skills in the installation, management, and maintenance of a variety of Security Systems including Burglar and Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, and Network Systems. Ideal candidates will be versatile in working across different environments, from confined spaces to elevated areas, always prioritizing safety. A current OSHA 30 certification is a prerequisite for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot a range of Security Systems, including burglar and fire alarms, access control systems, and CCTV.
• Work efficiently in diverse physical settings, adhering to stringent safety standards, particularly in tight or high spaces.
• Conduct regular monitoring and maintenance of security equipment to ensure its functionality and address any operational issues.
• Establish and maintain clear, effective communication with clients and team members, showcasing strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible for a company vehicle, well-equipped with all necessary tools and parts for routine tasks.

Work Schedule:

• Regular Weekdays (Monday through Friday)
• On-Call Responsibilities (flexible and negotiable)

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an impeccable driving record.
• Effective communication skills, both in writing and verbally.
• High school diploma or GED; additional education or certifications in related fields are advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and maintaining Security Systems.
• Solid work ethic, with strong problem-solving and mechanical skills.
• Well-versed in the use of various tools and technical equipment.

• Aerial Lift Certification
