Security Systems Technician

Versar has a unique opportunity for the right building access security professionals to work in one of our various locations where we provide services worldwide. Versar requires highly skilled, full-time professional electronic security technicians to accomplish complex electronic security system preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.

This position requires technical support for controlling physical access and protecting sensitive work-related activities, information, documentation, equipment, visitors, and Agency personnel in those controlled areas.

Description

The ideal candidate will provide support to field equipment in the installation and preventative and corrective maintenance of existing Access Control Systems and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance systems (internal and external to facilities, including ambush monitors) and integration of these systems into a system to monitor physical plant, people, and contents efficiently and effectively. The candidate must have proficiency in installing ESS infrastructure, including conduit and cable.

Candidate must have the technical experience and familiarity with specific ESS platforms to support the following systems including but not limited to Identiv, CCURE 9000, Lenel, and Bosch Video Management System.

These are OCONUS positions; candidates must be willing to travel internationally and be stationed in the following locations for the duration of the contract. Company pays attractive salary plus, COLA, Per-Diem + Benefits and Home Travel Plane Tickets.

Clearance Requirements

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust or Secret clearance.

Minimum Education / Experience / Certification Requirements

• HS Degree
• 5-8 Years of Experience
• ESS Certifications and Working ESS Platform Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $79,819.18 - $96,126.32 per year
