We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Low Voltage Technician for a permanent role within our innovative company. The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Low Voltage systems, including fire alarms, access control systems, and CCTV. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can work independently and as part of a team, providing expert service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of relays, power supplies and wiring troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair various Low Voltage systems, such as fire alarms, notifier systems, access control systems, and CCTV.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests of systems to ensure optimal functioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Low Voltage systems, identifying and implementing effective solutions.
- Work closely with the engineering team to design and implement new Low Voltage systems.
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies, continually enhancing your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Low Voltage Technician or in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of Low Voltage systems, including fire alarms, access control systems and CCTV.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to install, maintain, and repair various Low Voltage systems.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to respond to client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills.
- Commitment to safety, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations.
- Willingness to stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies, continually enhancing your skills and knowledge.
- A relevant certification or degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field would be an added advantage.
