As a Security Commissioning Engineer, you will support our building technologies security projects in the San Diego market. This role is responsible for assisting operation in project execution support. Why is this so important?
The Commissioning Engineer will participate within a diverse project team on the project development, and implementation of these projects. The project team may include customer resources as well as other contractors. As a Security Commissioning Engineer, you will: The Security Commissioning Engineer is responsible for production selection Assist in BOM development, planning, executing, testing, and commissioning large complex Security Systems Primary focus in video management, access control, intrusion detection, visitor access, networks, and other related systems and components.
You will make an impact with these qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 8+ years' experience in Security Systems support, programming, installation, and servicing large complex access control (ACS), intrusion detection (IDS), visitor access (VAS), video management (VMS) and related systems Extensive experience in the documentation, and integration of these systems Understands and can follow various IT project processes Can perform as senior technical resource for resolution of system errors, failures Experience in layout, integration and design of security and surveillance systems Technical training on systems designed a requirement: CCURE, VMS systems, camera technologies, network, and software architecture Take part in and can lead the commissioning of these systems. Responsible for acceptance test scripts and documenting performance parameters Must hold current certifications in access control, video management, and Intrusion system Knowledge and awareness of project management principles, documents, and plans. Successfully serves as point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations This position supports a Siemens customer that requires all employees and vendors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 where permitted by applicable law and in accordance with an accommodation based on legally protected reasons Preferred Qualifications: Complete the following certifications from Software House CCURE 9000 Enterprise systems CCURE Installer/Maintainer CCURE Advance Integrator CCURE Enterprise Integrator Stratus everRun Enterprise Installation and Maintenance Genetec IP video certifications Nice audio recording certification Network training and certification You'll benefit from: Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
