EXPECTATIONS:
Manage a team of 14 officers who oversee site security 24 / 7 for the Client's Hackettstown facility. This site consists of the National Office, Manufacturing, R&D, Wastewater Treatment and twooff prem buildings.
Position requires a highly motivated leader willing to deliver “Phenomenal Performance" in meeting andexceeding the Clients expectations through the daily execution of site security expectations and PostOrders.
On a typical day you will interface with the Client's Primary site contact and other departmentalcontacts as appropriate while leading a team of 13 security officers.
Daily executions and management of site visitor passes utilizing the EasyLobby badging application foraccess and payroll, and utilizing the Lenel badging and Alarm Monitoring system to assign accessprivileges to Associates. Oversee and manage the assignment and removal parking privileges.Assure client property, inventory, Radios, Keys are secure and accounted for.
Oversee personal and Security Team email to assure client email requests are handled in a professionaland timely manner.
Manage to each of the different needs of National Lobby Security Reception Desk, Security Office andGuard Shack.
Manage to the specific and individual needs of the third-party Client's site contractors.
Provide ongoing training for Site Security Officers to assure their performance is in alignment with the Client's processes and protocol including, emergency first aid, hazmat, fire, and confined space rescue.
Monitor and manage to site expectations for emergency dispatches for fire alarms, first aid and hazmatrequests.
Monitor and report SIMPLEX alarms and errors.
Utilize security camera monitoring and playback as requested.
Assure site protocol and management of deliveries, truck inspections and pickups are followed.
Training and Process guide updates or create the new development as needed based on the needs ofthe client and Allied.
Oversee Team Scheduling along with payroll updates and corrections utilizing Win Team and assure
Allied receives maximum client billing by meeting and looking for new opportunities.
Coordinate with Client Management Team for extra security details and special projects -
Hearing testing, Site construction projects, Annual Halloween and Memeorial Day Car show event.
Understand daily construction and other site projects and the potential to impact security.
Interface with key Site and departmental contacts daily as appropriate.
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and GMP standards is a plus.
Ability to multi-task is required.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Capably utilize scheduling and billing software to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, Training Detail reports, etc.) that require interpretation and action for effective business management
- Enforce Contract Standards
- Administers site safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for security officers including vehicle / driving safety as appropriate to corporate procedures
- Prepared to participate in unemployment hearings
- Enforces Allied Universal's policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memos
- Able to:
- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
