Peraton is seeking a Security Program Compliance Advisor to oversee and ensure personnel and physical security compliance in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). The onsite work location for this position is in Herndon, VA. Regular remote work from home may be leveraged when deemed appropriate.
This position supports Peraton's corporate office focused on Security Program Compliance. Specific responsibilities include:
- Manage, track, and ensure facility self-inspection timeliness and serve as liaison between FSO's and KMP team, leveraging an established workflow.
- Facilitate and submit FCL sponsorship packages with FSO/CPSO teams via Peraton's corporate CAGE.
- Manage facility location and assigned FSO/CPSO tracking.
- Work with contracts team on facility naming and address updates via SAM.gov.
- Execute SIMS/DISS reporting for PERSEC compliance and corrective actions.
- Manage CE enrollment/renewal reports for facilities, validating updates, as applicable.
- Work with LX team for updates to annual security trainings to ensure relevancy.
- Draft and roll out standardized templates for eAPP instructions, facility documents, facility signs, etc.
- Facilitate the creation of new security professional training to guide them on compliance requirements and available resources.
- Oversee and support internal inspections across facilities, to include briefs/debriefs tracking, SIMS integrity, contract DD254 compliance.
- Liaise with DCSA colleagues for continued engagement and issue resolution.
- Travel 10% to Peraton site
Qualifications
- Current TS clearance with SCI eligibility desired, with ability to obtain CI poly.
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience with BS/BA, Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA, or Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- Additional work expereince may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise regarding 32 CFR, NISPOM Rule implementation.
- Leads others to solve complex problems.
- Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
- May lead functional teams or projects.
- Strong understanding of DD254 creation and implementation to assist FSOs/CPSOs, as applicable.
- FSO training required or to be obtained within six months of hire.
- Experience with DISS required and Scattered Castles desired.
- Familiarity with SIMS (or similar database) highly desired.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
