Securitas Security is currently hiring Healthcare Security Officers in Perry, Iowa!
As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will respond to alarms, emergency requests, and use exceptional verbal de-escalation skills when needed. You always maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling private information.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Previous Security and/or Healthcare experience is required!
- Additional requirements will be discussed during interview process
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Demonstrates and maintains proficiency in all areas of the required job duties. Attends required training, education, and recertification’s in order to maintain the highest level of professional standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff entering the hospital
- Identifies, reports and documents safety hazards and handles such irregularities as assigned by Supervisor in a manner prescribed by hospital and department policy.
- Perform security checks, patrol facility, and monitor special assignments
- Conduct incident investigations and provide documentation for follow-up
- Respond to and assist in all incidents regarding safety and security
MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a reliable means of communication, such as cell phone.
- Must have a reliable means of transportation.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license or equivalent.
- Must have the legal right and security license to work in the country where the position is located.
- Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
- Must have a high school diploma, secondary education equivalent, or GED.
- Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
