For safety we have made changes to our interview and hiring process - transitioning to virtual interviews and online training to limit the number of persons, and amount of time employees spend, at our offices. SITE HIGHLIGHTS: We are currently hiring for construction sites, manfacturing plants, and seasonal outdoor sites.

- Pay Rate: $19.00 / hour (pay rate set by current contract; subject to future increases)

CURRENT OPENING:
FULL TIME with Benefits
- 12 HR Shifts: 7AM-7PM
- (1) Thursday-Saturday 7AM-7PM
- Every Other Sunday: 7AM - 7PM
- Rotating Schedule 4 Days on 3 Days Off
- Will work a Sunday Every Other Week
- Overtime Every Other Week
Flexibility and availability to work other sites could allow an ACA Full-Time (30-39 hours / week) status
LOCATION: Holland, MI
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: As an unarmed Security Officer at DK Security, your duties may vary depending on the site you are working. This opening will utilize your own vehicle on a construction site as a mobile post. Additional responsibilities include:
- Access Control - Ensure only authorized individuals are allowed access to the site.
- Foot Patrol - Walk the interior and exterior of the various buildings on site, keeping an eye out for security, safety, or maintenance issues.
SUCCESS as a Security Officer at DK Security will look like:
- Reliability - Report for your shift on time, presentable, and in the prescribed uniform.
- FriendlyPersonality- Being able to balance our expectations of outstanding customer service while maintaining client policies and enforcing rules.
- Following Company and Client Policies - Be able to read and interpret written post guidelines, follow procedures as outlined and ensure all tasks are completed throughout the shift.
- Use of De-escalation Techniques - Being able to defuse situations through verbal judo and other communication tactics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- May NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
- Must present a friendly, positive, and professional image.
- Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified
- Must have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
- Less than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
- No other major violations in the last 3 years.
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
