Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to work for Texas DPS; some positions may have other age requirements. Must have completed the Non-Commission/Commission training course. Must have Proof of US Citizenship is a requirement for employment with Texas DPS. A certified copy of your birth certificate or naturalization certificate will satisfy this requirement. Background investigations, including criminal history record checks, are conducted on all prospective employees. Felony convictions and certain misdemeanor convictions will be cause for immediate rejection.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Security Guard Services: 2 years (Required)
