Form of workAmentum is seeking aSecurity Monitorlocated in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Monitor is responsible for escorting and monitoring visitors on the facility. The monitor will observe and report security and emergency situations. The Security Monitor Intervenes directly only in situations which require minimal action to safeguard property or persons. Duties require minimal training and physical fitness standards.
Job Requirements:
- Observe and report
- Standing/walking for prolonged periods
- Escorting uncleared personnel
- Able to walk on uneven surfaces and safely navigate an active construction site with debris and other trip hazards on the floor at all times.
- Must be able to make logical, mentally competent, and safe decisions when working on a construction site.
- Escort and monitor operational vendors at all times while on site.
- Maintain line-of-sight with vendor at all times while on site.
- Escalate equipment issues found by vendors immediately to the onsite Supervisors
- Maintain visitor access logs consistent with site requirements.
- Prevent the unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information.
- Properly cleanse secured areas prior to escorting uncleared personnel into the facility.
- Follow all company security and safety policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Valid Drivers License
- US or Naturalized Citizen
- Must have government issued clearance at time of application.
- Multitask
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds / 10 Kilograms.
- Able to stand for 8-12 hours per day.
- Must be able to climb 5 flights of stairs multiple times within an 8–12-hour work shift.
