Job Description
Tekk Force is currently seeking Security Installation Technicians to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of CCTV, Alarm, and Access Control installation experience in a commercial environment.
Responsibilities of the Security Technician:
- Install Access Control, CCTV, and Burglar Alarm systems.
- Communicate with customers during the installation process and the status of the job, schedule changes, delays, RFIs, and systems testing.
- Communicate with customers before the installation process to help them select the best products.
- Ensure assigned installations are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain and submit accurate paperwork and documentation.
- Install and integrate mag locks and access control panels.
- Mount panels, field devices, computers, and power supplies.
- Responsible for programming, set-up, and testing systems.
- Familiar with mag locks, door strikes, card readers, IP cameras, and other devices.
Requirements of the Security Technician:
- State of Texas Security License (Not required but a plus)
- 3+ years of CCTV, Alarm, and Access Control installation experience in a commercial environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Clean background and able to pass a drug test
- Submit professional references to verify work history
- Have basic hand tools
- Possess a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver’s license
Pay will be based on experience ranging from $20 -$28/hr.
