We are seeking a motivated and skilled Low Voltage Installation Technician to join our team in College Station, Texas. This role is ideal for a technician who specializes in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Low VoltageSecurity Systems. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients to install the latest surveillance technology, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
**Responsibilities:**
- Install, program, maintain, and repair Low VoltageSecurity Systems, including but not limited to, CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Conduct site assessments to determine the best placement of security equipment for comprehensive coverage.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients, ensuring systems operate smoothly.
- Work closely with the design team to understand and implement custom security solutions.
- Ensure all installations and repairs are performed in accordance with industry standards and local codes.
- Educate customers on system functionalities and best practices for security.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, services, and repairs.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Installation Technician, with a strong background in Security Systems preferred.
- Technical proficiency in CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical details clearly to non-technical customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Network+, Security+) are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work in various physical environments and climb ladders to install equipment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
