JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are actively seeking dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Guard to join our esteemed team. The positions available are for the night shift, ranging from 8 pm to 6 am, with full-time hours guaranteed. There is also a potential for daytime shifts.

RESPONSIBILITES:

Monitor Multi-Housing Areas: As a Security Guard with us, you will play a crucial role in monitoring multi-housing areas. Your presence will deter potential security threats and contribute to creating a safe environment for residents.

Prevent Theft, Violence, or Rule Infractions: Vigilance is key to this role. You will be responsible for monitoring the premises to proactively prevent theft, violence, or any infractions of established rules, ensuring the safety of the community.

Thoroughly Examine Doors, Windows, and Gates: Conduct thorough inspections of doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper functionality and security. Identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities will be part of your routine responsibilities.

Warn Violators and Enforce Regulations: Act as a first line of defense by warning individuals who violate premises rules and regulations. Your ability to assertively enforce these guidelines contributes to maintaining order and safety.

Apprehend or Expel Suspicious Individuals: In situations involving suspicious or criminal activities, you will be empowered to take appropriate action, including apprehending or expelling individuals engaged in such acts, ensuring the security of the premises.

Report Facility Issues: Maintain a keen eye for facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes. Timely reporting of these issues is vital to prevent potential risks and maintain a secure environment.

Request Emergency Personnel: In high-risk situations, your quick thinking and ability to assess the severity of a threat will be crucial. You will be responsible for requesting emergency personnel when needed to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-MUST have a valid Armed Guard card from DPS (NO EXCEPTIONS)

-MUST have a reliable vehicle & a cell phone

-Familiarity with security equipment

-Strong attention to detail

-Compensation depends on whether you are part time or full time and your experience.

BENEFITS:

-$23 per hour

- After 6 months, 1 weeks paid vacation (40 hours) and a bonus, based on employee performance evaluation.
