About the Job:
- Excellent customer service is always top priority.
- Dispatcher has to be able to prioritize
- Switchboard operator experience
- Ability to handle a large amount of multi-line phone traffic, radio transmissions
- Experience with 911 emergency calls and contractor (access) calls
- Able to learn and monitor CCTV which includes 350+ cameras across the utility
- Able to learn and monitor card access system which includes alarm systems
- Remote access control- opening gate and across the utility sites
- You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
- Rapid Response to Alarm alerts
About the Qualifications:
- You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
- You're able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- At least 6 months security experience, law enforcement, or military
- At least 6 months of customer service experience
- Must have a state security license or ability to obtain one***
- Must be at least 18 years of age due to the contractual obligation for non-driving security posts or 21 years of age for security posts that operates a company vehicle.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record if security posts operate a company vehicle.
- Demonstrate a stable work history
- Have reliable transportation
- Able to climb stairs, walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time
