Summary
The Security Dispatcher is responsible for organizing and dispatching security personnel and other casino personnel as necessary for routine and emergency services as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide the highest quality customer service to all guests, employees, departments and vendors.
- Perform multi-tasking duties while answering and routing telephone and radio calls.
- Perform routine clerical functions Work independently.
- Post duty assignments and other information on dispatch board.
- Maintain confidentiality of all Security, Soboba Casino and Soboba Tribal business.
- Compile and record data.
- Use a computer to enter or update data.
- Use computer aided dispatching system.
- Constantly communicate via telephone and radio.
- Report writing, documentation of information in security reports.
- Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
- Working alongside less experienced Security Dispatcher team members to assist and train them in proper task completion.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.

- Serve as a contributing Team Member of the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians enhancing the Casino’s operations in all its business endeavors.
- Maintain a healthy level of physical fitness and sleep practices that allow you to stay awake during the shift and also occasionally participate in brief, but strenuous physical activity (running, or moving quickly during an emergency) without injuring yourself or putting yourself into medical distress.
Education / Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age, or older.
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM required.
- Two (2) years of customer service, or one (1) year of customer service, plus one (1) year of PTZ security camera, or dispatch related experience.
- Ability to remain calm in a stressful environment and challenging circumstances.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to promote a positive and professional image.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
- Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
Certificates, licenses and registration
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission License.
- Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
- Valid CA Driver’s License with clean driving record (less than 3 points).
