Security Clinical Aide

Job Summary:

The Security Clinical Aide will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and safe environment while also providing support in clinical settings. This position requires a combination of security expertise, clinical assistance skills, working in a behavioral health environment, and the candidate may be required to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities Include:

Security Duties:

• Monitor and patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, fire, or other emergencies.
• Ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, and property by maintaining a visible presence & forcing.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, taking appropriate action to address the situation.

Clinical Aide Duties:

• Assist Clinical Aide staff in providing client care and support as needed.
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and their families.
• Collaborate with clinical personnel to ensure a secure environment for both staff and clients.

Communication:

• Effectively communicate with fellow security personnel, clinical staff
• Report incidents, observations, and security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities.
• Use two-way radios and other communication devices to coordinate responses to emergencies.

Documentation:

• Complete accurate and detailed reports on security incidents, safety hazards, and other relevant activities.
• Maintain records of patient interactions and activities as required by clinical protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid security guard license.
• Previous experience in security roles, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform duties such as standing for extended periods
• CPR and First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

• This position involves working in a behavioral health environment, and the candidate may be required to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours, shift work 3:00-11:30pm Monday-Friday, some holidays and weekends
