Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of security solutions, integrating Palo Alto firewalls, Prisma Access, SIEM, and Microsoft Sentinel/Defender for Endpoint for comprehensive security posture.
- Develop and implement security policies, controls, and configurations to safeguard against advanced threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct in-depth security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential security gaps and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure network architectures that align with business goals and compliance requirements.
- Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls, including rule sets, threat prevention, and advanced security features.
- Utilize Prisma Access to provide secure remote access for remote workers.
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts for anomalies, conducting thorough investigations and incident response as needed.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to security teams, ensuring adherence to security best practices and standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in cybersecurity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven work experience as a Security Architect with specific expertise in Palo Alto, Prisma Access, SIEM, and Microsoft Sentinel/Defender for Endpoint technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewall platforms, including Panorama management console.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing SIEM solutions and interpreting security logs.
- Experience with network security protocols and technologies, including VPNs, IDS/IPS, DLP, and encryption.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex Security Architectures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) and Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500) are highly desirable.
