YULEE HIGH SCHOOL
Secretary / Bookkeeper (12 months/7 hours daily)
Range of Pay: $32,341.00 - $35,927.00
(While in effect, additional compensation from the Millage initiative will be awarded annually. For the 2023-2024 school year, the amount of $4,800.00 will be prorated from July 3, 2023.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
*(1) Provide secretarial services to the Principal, arrange appointments, take calls, answer inquiries and compose routine correspondence independently.
*(2) Perform the usual office routines and practices associated with a busy, productive and smoothly-run office.
*(3) Maintain school records as required.
*(4) Prepare payroll reports for instructional, non-instructional and administrative personnel as required.
*(5) Prepare and type a variety of records, reports, newsletters and printed programs.
(6) Maintain student and employee records as required.
*(7) Perform bookkeeping functions of internal accounts, school budget, accounts payable and petty cash.
*(8) Type and process purchase orders and requisitions.
*(9) Order and maintain supplies as needed.
(10) Serve as a notary for students, parents, teachers and administrators as required.
(11) Obtain substitute employees as required.
*(12) Use effective, positive interpersonal communication skills.
(13) Perform other incidental tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position.
