Delray Beach’s luxury hotel, The Seagate Hotel & Spa is currently looking for a Retail Clerk to work in our upscale location Etc. Gifts / Aqua Resortwear. The Retail Clerks are responsible for being a leader in sales execution, providing an outstanding shopping experience to our customers through product knowledge, trend awareness and exceptional customer care. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and professional team player with the ability to maintain the sales floor to company standards and comply with all company policies and procedures. This position demonstrates excellence in all areas of sale and merchandising standards.
Clerk Responsibilities:
- Exceeds all personal sales and productivity goals while abiding by all loss prevention policies.
- Provides respectful, attentive service to the guests throughout the store.
- Utilizes dynamic communication skills to build and maintain guest relationships.
- Actively maintains merchandising, organization, and housekeeping standards in all areas of the store.
- Complies with all registered transaction policies
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and management staff
- Maintains cleanliness and organizational standards so that the store is a neat, clean, and safe environment for all associates.
- Perform additional job duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Demonstrate a courteous and helpful attitude.
- Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work shifts on days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Energy, attention to detail, initiative, and enthusiasm are required.
- Previous experience a plus, but not necessary. Will train.
