SCHEDULE Temporary seasonal work, part-time schedule: 20-40 hours per week.
Help is needed April/May through August. Business hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
POSITION SUMMARY: This position maintains the public parks, pool, burial grounds, and other Borough property by mowing, weed-whacking, removing brush and trash, painting, and cleaning facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions may include the customary duties and responsibilities noted herein; however, the information below is not an exhaustive list of duties and instead serves as a representative sample of the expectations of the position.
- Performs general Lawn Maintenance and a variety of manual tasks to clean and restore public park areas, the community pool, and other recreational facilities; uses tools and equipment such as tractors, power lawn mowers, push mowers, trimmers, and hand tools.
- Demonstrates appropriate care and respect when maintaining burial grounds; ensures proper placement of fallen headstones, flags, and other memorials.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFYING CRITERIA:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands described
below are representative of those required for the position.
- Work is performed indoors and outdoors, in all types of weather conditions, including low/high temperatures, precipitation, and wind.
- Must be able to use body to work, move, or carry objects or materials.
- Employee is subject to standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Requires moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Requires safely operating machinery, power tools; motor vehicles, and/or heavy equipment.
- Requires communicating with others to exchange information.
