Seasonal Guest Services Representative (Part-Time)

The Dawes Arboretum has an immediate need for a part-time, seasonal (through August; up to 23 hours per week) Guest Services Representative. Scheduled shifts will vary to include evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Your purpose in this role will be to provide high-quality impactful customer service, whether by phone or in person. You will champion our mission by sharing accurate information/directions, promoting upcoming events, and providing assistance with gift shop transactions, memberships and program registrations. Attention to detail, ability to resolve issues and multi-tasking are just a few of the key skills essential for success in this role.
Some of the specific responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Warmly greet guests upon their arrival and ensure they feel welcomed by providing cheerful and courteous customer service, whether at the Gatehouse or in the Gift Shop. (This role will have a Gatehouse focus.)
• Promote The Arboretum, its programs, classes and events.
• Assist guests with admission into the Arboretum by verifying membership or accepting payment from non-members at the Gatehouse.
• Operate the point of sale system and utilize various computer programs.

The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 – 14.00.
