We are looking for a Seasonal Customer Service Representative to provide excellent Customer Service. Candidates will stand out who have strong communication skills, who make customers feel welcome in our store and confident on the phone in their choice to choose us for their boating needs. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our services and products and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave satisfied and with having had a positive, enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities - CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Greet customer and help with their needs
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features and pricing)
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
- Cross-sell products
- Assist with inventory including stocking and price changes
- Enter new products into inventory
- Ensure inventory shelves and racks are stocked
- Handle merchandise returns
- Coordinate with the Customer Service team to provide excellent Customer Service (especially during peak times)
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Provide customer feedback to the store manager
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
Responsibilities - BOAT RENTALS
- Answer heavy phones
- Help facilitate boat rental reservations
- Provide information regarding boat rental process
- Possess excellent, detail-oriented Customer Service
- Prepare boat rental agreements and safety forms
- Check for proper completion/signatures on all forms
- Assist in getting customers signed in for their boat rentals
- Process all charges for boat rentals
- Inform customers of daily boat rental procedures (e.g. where to park, when to return)
Skills
- EXCELLENT communication skills
- Ability to perform and thrive in fast-paced environments
- Proven work experience in Customer Service or similar role (helpful but not required)
- General knowledge of MS Office
- Basic math skills
- Cash register/POS experience
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- High school degree
