JOB DESCRIPTION


The Consumer Bank Marketing Becoming a Customer Team is responsible for driving incremental deposit account growth through developing and implementing strategies to improve the shopping and account opening experience. To help support this effort, we are seeking a high-performing candidate with experience in leading Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to drive organic traffic to our deposit product web pages. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to define and implement a comprehensive SEO and Content strategy in support of a key strategic priority for the Consumer Bank business while partnering closely with several cross-functional stakeholders including acquisition, analytics, finance, strategy, brand and campaign management.

As the Search Engine Optimization lead on the Becoming a Customer Shopping Strategy team, you will have the opportunity to apply your SEO skills to one of Chase’s largest businesses, improving the customer experience for millions of visitors to our web pages each month. You will also gain exposure to the broader Chase.com strategy with opportunities to define and drive a robust roadmap aimed at achieving measurable goals that deliver positive business outcomes. Monitoring performance will be critical as you will also be presenting progress against established goals to internal clients and senior leadership, inclusive of insights and areas for future optimization. Your passion for digital marketing and SEO strategy paired with being a highly engaged member of a very collaborative team will be critical to your success in this role.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategy for the Consumer Bank Marketing Becoming a Customer Team
  • Identify and prioritize strategies to expand Consumer Bank’s organic footprint across all brand and non-brand phases of the shopping journey
  • Forecast growth potential and trends and implement measures to hit growth targets inclusive of improving search rankings and share of search for Consumer Bank
  • Define content strategy to inform publication of search optimized content inclusive of identifying new content opportunities
  • Stay in the know of upcoming trends and refine your strategy to incorporate the changing organic landscape
  • Gather insights from quantitative reporting to develop qualitative explanations behind performance on a regular cadence
  • Strategically plan page migrations, developing roadmap for deliverables such as search behavior analysis and migration mapping

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant digital marketing / SEO experience
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining willingness to “roll up your sleeves”
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to develop, execute and maintain SEO strategies and provide analysis
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of content management
  • Experience with performance analysis, especially within Adobe Analytics
  • Knowledge of Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
  • Knowledge of Search Engine behavior, ranking factors and SERP trends
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and eagerness to work as member of a team
  • High energy, solutions-oriented with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
