Seamstress/Tailor

Starting Pay Range: $20 - $25/hr

What you will do as a Seamstress/Tailor:

• Promptly provide day-to-day repairs to Team Member uniforms as requested (i.e. replacing zippers and buttons, hemming, mending, etc.)
• Accurately measure new Team Members for uniforms before their start dates and ensures uniforms are ready by their start dates.
• Provides accurate alteration to Team Member uniforms as necessary.
• Anticipates inventory needs and promptly notifies Supervisor of materials required.
• Accurately maintains information in various logs, sewing logs, shift communication logs, departmental wardrobe logs, and maintains records of items borrowed.
• Completes a quarterly inventory of all wardrobe room materials and supplies.

Having a Rewarding Career As A Seamstress/Tailor Means:

• Completed High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Candidate must possess previous commercial/industrial experience and/or relevant training as a seamstress.
• Must have complete knowledge and experience with sewing machines and relevant equipment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills required.
• Must be able to complete multiple tasks and adhere to time constraints.
• Must possess knowledge of fabrics and ability to create uniforms with or without patterns.
• Ability to distinguish between colors required.
• Ability to take accurate measurements required.
